The  2008 Statewide Parent Involvement Conference is going to be held on Saturday, March 29th at Papillion-Lavista South High School.  Registration begins at 7:30 and events begin at 8:30.  The day's schedule includes 4 breakout sessions of your choosing, lunch, and an address from Governor Dave Heineman.

Sessions will be conducted by professional educators, counselors, and law enforcement officials.  Over 30 sessions will cover topics that will include: helping your child be a better reader, internet safety, use of technology, discipline, television watching, communication, nutrition, and more.

The cost for attending the conference is $30.  Fillmore Central Middle School PACK will pay for as many as eight registrants.  If you want to attend through the middle school, contact Jeremy Klein by Tuesday, March 4th.  If you decide that you want to attend the conference after the middle school registration slots are occupied, simply call the middle school principal's office for information on how to self-register.

If you have any questions or if you'd like additional details about the conference, feel free to contact the middle school principal's office.
