Fifth Grade Supply List for 08-09

5th Grade Supply List
1 pencil box to hold crayons, makers, scissors, colored
pencils
(glue will not have to fit)
1 box of 24 crayons
10 yellow pencils with erasers (no mechanical pencils please)
1 8 oz bottle of Elmer’s school glue (white please)
1 small package of pencil top erasers or one pink eraser
1 pair of metal, sharp-point 5 to 6-inch scissors
3 spiral notebooks
2 boxes of Kleenex
1 box of 8 washable markers--Classic colors
1 package of 8 colored pencils
2 erasable pens blue or black (please do not send
non-erasables)
6 pocket folders (see below)
The folders should be in these colors:
1 RED pocket folder (preferably the vinyl type so that it lasts
longer)
1 YELLOW pocket folder (preferably the vinyl type so it lasts
longer)
1 BLUE pocket folder (paper or vinyl)
1 GREEN pocket folder (paper or vinyl)
2 more folders--your choice
These supplies are NOT needed. Please DO NOT bring them:
NO BIG ERASERS
NO TAPE
NO TRAPPER KEEPERS
NO THREE-RING BINDERS
NO MECHANICAL PENCILS
NO PERMANENT MARKERS
NO BALL POINT OR FELT TIP PENS
Please label all supplies with your child’s name.
