Fillmore Central Does Well at District Music Contest

Student soloists receive superior and excellent ratings.

Fillmore Central traveled to Fairbury for the 2008 District Music Contest.  Soloists from FC were very successful.  Students worked hard to prepare solos for District Music Contest and performed them for judges.  Out of the 15 vocal events that were entered for Fillmore Central, ten of them received superior ratings, and the other five received excellent ratings.  FCHS has a long-standing tradition of excellence at District Music Contest due to the hard work of students, their strong leadership skills, and their drive and passion to make great music together.  Congratulations to all students that participated as we couldn't be more proud of the way they represented themselves and FCHS.
