On Thursday, April 17th, the third graders learned what it was like to be true pioneers on the wet, cold prairie!! They learned about various wagons, buggies, carriages and trains dating back to the early 1900s.
Earth Day activities for the third graders included going to the Geneva Public Library to pick up trash, sticks and leaves and to plant lilac bushes and petunias. Assisted by Pat Schake and Donna Fairley, the third graders transformed the Library grounds into a wonderland of flowers!
